Hurlbut Care Communities is approved to offer a hybrid nurse training program that meets New York State Department of Health requirement. This program will be done over a course of 4 weeks. There will be an assigned RN educator following along to help with questions. The RN educator will be teaching the mandatory clinicals. Clinicals will be done in person onsite so applicants will need to be able to travel for these days.
This program is designed for students who are seeking a CNA position at one of the Hurlbut Care Community locations. In order to be successful in this program, students must be able to work well under pressure, have technology to support the platform, be able to navigate the online platform or app, be able to attend virtual meetings, study independently, be self-motivated to meet deadlines, and access to a printer. After completion of the course students can start working at one of the Hurlbut Care Locations.
