The Christmas party for residents and their families was a lovely event. Decorations were beautiful, food delicious and so elegantly presented – such attention to detail. All the residents were dressed festively. Lively and uplifting entertainment was enjoyed by all. Thank you for the compassionate and caring nursing home care for our mother and grandmother. We deeply appreciate each and every employee.

Dear, dear people who cared for Alice! This note is so late in coming, but no less heartfelt. I know my brothers and sisters are as grateful as I am for the love, care and attention you showed our mom – and to us. I will never forget the visits, the meals, and probably the most vivid, those nights I had sleepovers with Alice in room 7. When I happen to see anyone out and about, it is a most welcome treat. You all have sweetened my life. With all my love and gratitude…

Thank you so much for all you did for our mom. You were like family to her and to us also. We will always be grateful to you for making her feel so special. Thank you again.

We think Wedgewood Nursing Home is fantastic! We have past experiences with other facilities, but none compare to the care my Mother currently receives. Amy, Nicole and others at Wedgewood are highly professional and treat each resident and family member with individual care and attention. By far, Wedgewood surpasses other nursing homes where my Mother has previously resided. All of her needs are carefully met with attention to detail within a small, family oriented environment. I greatly appreciate the care my Mother receives.”

I had a wonderful stay. I would recommend this rehab facility to anyone. As a nurse, I found the PT/OT services to be one of the finest I’ve worked with. They really go above and beyond.

I cannot tell you what a blessing it was to me – you were angels sent by the Lord. Her attitude has definitely changed for the better. The prior situation with her was horrible, her living conditions HAD to change, and it has been a fierce battle. Thanks again for your kindness; it spoke new life into both of us. May the Lord richly bless you.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. This is one of the best nursing homes by far, and you treat your patients so well. You will all be truly missed. Thank you once again.

Thank you ALL for the help you gave Mom and ALL of the residents you care for. I watch daily how you love and care for each one of them – no matter how difficult things get. I know the Good Lord will bless each and every one of you in a special way!! You are truly dynamic individuals in your own special way! Good health and happiness for each one of you.

Just a note to thank you and all your staff for the many years of TLC given to my mom. Your people were very patient, as mom can be difficult at times, and I asked many questions and received answers. Thank you again, all of you.

I wanted to thank all of you for the exceptional care my mother received at your facility this past year. It was hard to see her so debilitated, but knowing how much you all care about your residents made it easier to be so far away. I hope you know what a difference all of you make to your residents – as well as their families.

Many thanks to the staff at Penfield Place. It is such a blessing for our family to know Eileen is so happy here. Enjoy the cookies!

My story at Penfield Place was great. Absolutely everyone was very friendly and efficient. They made my stay very pleasant. I’m very happy to say, “I’m glad I came here.” The therapy was very thorough and was exactly what I needed. I’m leaving here thinking about how many friends I’ve made. I would come here anytime and recommend it to everyone.

Thank you very much for taking good care of my mother-in-law and grandma in Penfield Place. She said she loved the food and the good care she got! She was a great mother-in-law and grandma! Thank you to all of you that took care of her!

How does one properly thank so many people who have had such a positive impact on our lives? From the day that Will arrived at the Brightonian we were welcomed into a very special “family”. Everyone worked so hard to accommodate his special needs – it didn’t matter if it was medical, physical, dietary, personal comfort, or had to do with business, his choice in reading materials or TV programs, there was always someone there to help him or to just chat with him. He enjoyed joking with the nurses and aides, talking about sports, and giving out Tootsie Pops whenever he could.

All in all, everyone at The Brightonian played a part in making our beloved Will able to live the last year and a half of his life surrounded by people who cared – and for that we cannot thank you enough.

To the Staff at The Brightonian Nursing Home,

I appreciate the friendly faces & loving care given to me by the caring staff during my rehab stay. I was rehabbed & have no problem getting up & down the stairway to my bedroom. Thank you physical therapists & occupational therapists.

The Activity Director, Orpha, had many activities planned, which I found enjoyable. I'd always rather be out of my room & doing something fun. My husband & I enjoyed the music activities, Bingo with Mary, & my brother attended a music activity where we all knew all the oldies but goodies.

We met many wonderful residents there, enjoyed talking with them, going to Church services, & recieving communion brought in by volunteers.

I had the best tech aide, Tina, who helped me with showers on Tues. & Thurs. She was always helpful & sure had a good work ethic. I loved talking with her.

I can't forget the food. They do a wonderful job in the kitchen & the food is very good. Again, thank you all for your caring & concern for all the residents at the Brightonian.

To the staff of The Brightonian Nursing Home

Our dad entered your facility in October 2009 for rehabilitation. After several attempts to return to his beloved home, your 'home' became his home for the duration of his days. Cranky though he may have been at times, I believe he came to accept the fact that he would not be regaining his ability to move around nor be able to support himself at his family home.

The care he received was always what he needed, even when he did not want it. He developed friendships of a sort with other patients, their visitors, and with staff members. Certain people were his favorites, even though his treatment of them was rough at times. My brothers and I are grateful for the patience, the loving care, and humor with which you all treated our dad.

All of this is to say THANK YOU for ALL that you did for Dad while he was with you, and thank you for all the support and care you showed to me and to my brothers when we visited him. You were all gracious and kind and loving in how you treated all of us.

To all of my new friends on East 1,

I want to thank everyone for all you did for me to get me home. I’ll never forget all of you. All of my nurses, aides, and therapists. Love you all.
